How come some of you skip questions? Some of the questions have answers from everybody, but quite frequently there are skipped questions. This strikes me as very weird. I think it would be fairer if everybody answered every question, don't you?

People skip the polls or various questions in the polls?
I know once or twice one of the questions had a book I hadn't read and I then leave it & come back to it. Or atleast I have the intention of coming back to that question, maybe I just forget & click submit :O

I only do it when I haven't read the books in question. The higher Super Specials, for example, or a few of the mysteries.

Yeah, the same for me. There may have been one or two questions over the course of the polls where I just could not decide which of the options I liked/hated most, but in general it's just if I haven't read the books.

some people aren't on LJ as frequently? I mean, sometimes I go a week without checking my friendslist, and I'm not going to go back through pages and pages to see every single post ever made, you know. I vote when I see it but I don't stress about not.

Who knows, who cares? ;p

I skip some questions because there's some books I haven't read, and I want to be fair instead of blindly choosing one. Never judge a book by it's cover! Or title in this case lol.

I haven't read all of the books. None of the Mysteries, One of the Super Specials, maybe half the regulars, one portrait. So I can only answer the questions if I know about those books.

The only time I skip questions is if I'm on vacation and missed the post completely, or I came back after the poll had closed. Even if there are some I haven't read, I vote for the one I have read (usually there's no choice between two I haven't read).

Er... the latter part of my sentence should be something like "usually it does not happen that, in a poll, competing books are both unread by me." Poorly worded (X2) FTW!

I have a lot of stuff on my f-list, so I'm only a member of this community and don't watch it. Sometimes I forget to come by and see if there's a new one.

Occasionally I used to miss out questions in the polls if I hadn't read the books. I might have missed the odd questions recently because my net access is decidedly more limited at the moment.

Like others I skip questions when I don't remember the book/never read it. I think most of us would rather pass on voting than vote for something we didn't remember.
